Women group cries out over humiliation of Couple, by former Katsina Acct general for alleged N750,000,000 Scandal Urges EFCC to investigate.

Katsina Marketers women group association have called for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC to investigate the Embattled former Katsina State Accountant general Kabiru Dankaura for accusing couple, his former driver and a Vulcanizer for receiving the Sum of Seven hundred and Fifty Million Naira from his wife for safe keeping while serving under the administration of His Excellency Aminu Bello Masari.

The group Public relation Officer Hajiya Aminatu Batsari during a press briefing in Katsina worried about on how the former Accountant general Kabiru Dankaura Collaborated with one Police officer Inspector Dagun to force the accused persons under Durex to accept recieving the said amount from Kabiru Dankaura wife for safe keeping which appears to be false, ” Hajiya Aminatu Batsari lamented.

Further investigations reveals that the suspects were mobile textiles traders which their total capital is not up to N250,000 but are being patronized by the the former Accountant general Kabiru Dankaura especially Wife during festives seasons.

A police officer at the Katsina State Police Command who begged for anonymity said that,” I heard of the case, but the truth of the matter is that ,by mere looking at the suspects the alleged amount said to be in their possession is very. questionable.

Another neighbor to the former Accountant general Kabiru Dankaura who as well begged for his name hide, confessed to this Medium that , everyone within our area knew Kabiru Dankaura wife extravagant lifestyle and she owned many landed properties within and outside Katsina amounting to billions of Naira, added that she might have implicated the Couples and four others to have a soft landing with her husband believed to be public funds.

” We are grateful to Allah for the victims released from prison, but we are urging the Katsina State Police Commissioner and the EFCC to deeply investigate this case and hear from Inspector Dagun who is handling the case to find out in which Bank account such humongous transaction took place. “Said Aminatu Batsari.

Alhaji Kabiru Dankaura,the former Accountant general during Aminu Bello Masari is still battling with the EFCC over Misappropriation, Money laundering and abuse of procurement act while in office.
