political development coming from Zamfara State have it that the Senator representing Zamfara west at the red Chamber His Excellency Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari popularly know as (Shehi) and his close Friend the immediate past governor of Zamfara State who is also the current Nigeria Minister of Defence His Excellency Bello Mohammed Matawalle has finally accepted and fixed November 15 2025 to formally welcome governor Dauda Lawal in the rulling All progressive congress APC.

This development comes after governor Dauda Lawal Six Months Struggle and lobbying to convince Matawalle and Senator Abdul Aziz Yari of his intention to exit from the people Democratic party PDP to the rulling All progressive congress APC.

Insiders from the Zamfara State government House has accused Gusau Local government chairman Honourable Abubakar Imam for having close relationship with first lady Her Excellency Hajiya Huriya Dauda Lawal, the wife of the Executive governor of Zamfara State.
