Fire on the empty treasury as Zamfara governor Dauda Lawal purchases two latest G- Wagon

The search online Magazine secretly uncovered that the Zamfara State governor Dr Dauda Lawal has used the supposed empty treasury he claimed to have inherited from the previous administration of his predicesseor, former Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle, to purchase Mine resistance G- Wagon Mercedes 2023 Model worth Seven hundred and fifty Million Naira #750,000,000 as his official and backup staff car.

The Ssearch online magazine correspondent in Gusau the State capital of Zamfara reports that, base on some secret investigation conducted gathered that, the Vehicles arrived Nigeria, through Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, four weeks after the governor took the mantle of leadership in the State. Added that, based on the memo which is not yet available on print, the two latest G- Wagon including Custom duty cost the State one Billion Naira.

Though Dr. Dauda Lawal who during his campaign promised Zamfara State citizens his intention to fight insecurity which is currently worst under his administration now.

Meanwhile, one of the media aid to the governor who identified his name as Mugira Yusuf said that, "His Excellency Dr Dauda is entitled to procure any Vehicle for his protection looking at the security situation in the State."

Dr. Dauda who came in to the office on May 29 2023 came in with his rescue slogan of making Zamfara better than he met it. He started with the sack of more than 11,000 Civil servants and has been dodging the State since he took over as the governor barely 50 days ago.

Some citizens are now worried about the resources of the state and worried about His Excellency the Zamfara State governor Dr. Dauda Lawal's rescue mission to Zamfara State amidst such outlandish expenditure, out of the little resources of the State. They also wonder if this is not outright looting.
