36TH MAULUD: FORMER ZAMFARA GOV YARI CAUGHT WITH BANDITS' LEADERS PLANNING MASS KIDNAPPINGS.





Reports reaching this medium (SahelReporters) revealed how former Gov Yari of Zamfara state was caught in a meeting with bandits' leaders planning how to attack and massively kidnap participants of the 36th edition of the national Maulud of Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass, which took place in Gusau the Zamfara state capital on Saturday, the 5th of March, 2022.


The reports further exposed the former governor who  before his travel to US for the review of his medication, tried to convince the leaders of the maulud not to accept  the invitation for the  event in Zamfara State where he hurriedly rushed to his hometown Talata Mafara to organise bandits to attack participants at the event and massively kidnap those on their ways going back to their respective hometowns, before luck ran against him when security got intelligence reports on their planned evil.


According to the intelligence, bandits leaders numbering 56 were organised to meet the former governor to collect resources for the job, unfortunately for Yari  a repentant bandith who attended the meeting  leaked out to the security agencies.


Some of the bandits' leaders including Dogo Gyade, Dan Nagala, Ado Aleiru, Senator, Emir, Yellow Janbros, Damana and Gudale were among other bandits' kingpins that attended the planning meeting which took place at an undisclosed forest between Talata Mafara and Anka local government areas of Zamfara state on Thursday.


According to an inside source, the interception of the former governor and the gangs followed an adequate security arrangement by the heads of security outfits in the state for successful  conduct of the maulud celebration.


Investigations slso revealed that the former governor gave the bandits' leaders the sum of 50 million Naira to carry out the nefarious acts, until when luck ran against them but one  the repentant bandit among who acted as a spy leaked out the evil plans has since returns his share to the security agencies. 


The arrangement was that the bandits will be devided into 4 groups, with some to attack people on Gusau Sokoto road, some to attack Gusau Yankara road, others to attack Gusau Magami - Dan sadau road and the forth group to attack Kaura namoda - jibiya road.


Investigations further revealed that since the former governor left the country to the United States of America for an advanced medical attention on his leg, the security situation in Zamfara state improves, a development which angered the former governor leading him to rush down to mobilize the bandits to restore back the hitherto attacks on innocent communities for political reasons.


It may also recall that the state governor Bello Matawalle has been pointing accusing finger to some conflict entrepreneurs and political bandits conniving with rural bandits to terrorize Zamfsea and its neighbouring states for political and economic gains at the detriment of the larger communities. These undesirable elements have been sabotaging the efforts by president Muhammadu Buhari and Zamfara State  Governor who have been having sleepless nights to ensure that everyone in the state sleeps with his two eyes closed

Alledged Infidelity: Local government chairman accused for secret deal with governor wife.
