  Zamfara state government under the leadership of Governor Bello Mohammed Matawallen maradun has on Thursday, April 28th 2022 paid all the 6 year debts owed Al-Hikima University Ilorin, Kwara state by the immediate past administration. The debts totaling over 230 million  Naira was left behind by the Yari government, after its refusal to pay for the tuition fees of Zamfara state indigenes admitted in the institution to study various courses during the reign of Yari. Following the payment of the tuition fees debts, the University has now graduated and issued certificates to all the Zamfara state students whose academics were disrupted by the Yari governmemt refusal to pay the scholarship.
